Audemars Piguet is one of the world's three famous watchmaking brands. It was founded in Switzerland in 1875 by watchmakers Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, and its production is in Le Brassus.
In 1875, two watchmakers, 22-year-old Jules-Louis Audemars and 24-year-old Edward-Auguste Piguet, co-founded the Audemars Piguet brand in the village of Le Brassus in the Ru Valley, Switzerland. The concept that the two insisted on created a unique vision for the brand and left classic and timeless works. To this day, the family business of Audemars Piguet is still managed by the descendants, the inspiration and ingenuity are passed down in the blood, and the enthusiasm for watchmaking technology has not diminished.
Audemars Piguet's independent spirit of not following the trend was more vividly and exquisitely displayed in 1972. The Royal Oak series that came out that year broke the conventions of the watch industry and got rid of the watchmaking norms that no one overruled at the time like Rolex and Berliget.
